"With the increasing number of cases of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) being reported across the country, PYSA is carefully evaluating the rapidly evolving recommendations put forth by governmental and professional groups regarding organized activities in the community.

The spring 2020 season is projected to start April 4th and run through the middle of May.  A firm decision on the season start date as planned will be made no later than March 25th and will be based on information available to us at that time.   Keep in mind that our hope is run the league as planned, but there is also the realistic possibility of a shortened season or cancellation of the season entirely as necessary.

We are monitoring these agencies and organizations for our information:  the State of Oregon, Oregon Health Authority, Centers for Disease Control (CDC), Oregon Youth Soccer, US Youth Soccer (USYS), and the United States Soccer Federation (USSF) for updates and announcements.

As this situation evolves, we will keep you informed on any decision we make. We greatly appreciate your understanding as we all deal with this unprecedented situation.
